In the event a case is filed against him by  the election retaining officer and the Divisional secretary Kingsley Fernando win and ask me to pay compensation for scolding them for cheating of peoples votes, he would say he has no money and that he is willing to be imprisoned even for life time. This was revealed by the former Minister of the Wyamba provincial council Asoka Wadigamangawa.

Asoka Wadigamangawa has been a Member of Parliament in an earlier regime and also been a cabinet Minister in the parliament. It is learnt that after the counting of votes there had been through negligence had left some bundles of counted ballet papers at the counting centre at the
St.Andrews College in Puttalam. When he came to know he had shouted and scolded the retaining officer and the District secretary Kinsgley Fernando for negligence of duties.

The retaining office and the Divisional Secretary Kingsley Fernando had stressed at a media briefing for scolding and for insulting him, he is going to file action claiming Rs 25 million as damages.
