It is reported that the Opposition Leader and the Leader of the UNP Ranil Wickramasinghe has decided to resign from the post of Opposition Leader.
He has taken this decision with the defeat in the P C election and it is reported that he has decided to give the responsibility of the Leadership to youths.
This decision has been taken after having discussed with the
seniors of the party.
