It was stressed by the Member of Parliament for Hambantota, Namal Rajapaksa that the United National Party could win an election only if the voting is made via the internet.
He added this while speaking in an Wyamba province election propaganda meeting in Kuliyapitiya. He added further saying
“Today the UNP and the JVP do not talk about politics. They only do criticising the candidates and by slinging mud at them and the HE President and make various unnecessary stories. The politics of the UNP is not with the villages but
with the International community.In this context if there is a voting system via the internet they could become victorious. They know very well the requirements of the International organisations. They are also aware of their reactions.hey are not bothered to fing the requirements of the poor village children, simply they are not worried. They speak about International commissions and International reports”
