Sale of Cigarettes been Reduced
The Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena says that according to marketing reports of tobacco companies, the sale of cigarettes has been reduced by 7% during the first six months of the year.
He stated that the provincial members and health officers should take actions to increase this figure.He further said that the development programmes should be launched
without dividing the government and the provincial councils.
He further stated that from next year he will give priority to develop the primary health and 75% of the financial provision will be given to the provincial councils.
