A number of political parties in Tamil Nadu had made strong protests to the Central government of India in regard to their decision of donating two war ships to Sri Lanka.
In this regard the DMK party and the other parties have stated that this gifting will not help the cause of the Indian fishermen. What had been conveyed that this will not benefit the Indian Fishermen or to those Tamil people living in Sri Lanka?.Their allegation is that the central government is not
helping their own people but helping the Sri Lankans.
This stand had been confirmed by the DMK party Leader Karunaniddhi.
