Chandrika and Sobitha Thero's Secret Mission

A person who had become a controversial figure in political circles is Ven.Maduluwawe Sobitha thera, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Naga Viharaya Kotte. An unexpected stranger had dropped in to meet him who was none other than former President Chadrika Kumaratunga.

During the visit made last week Chandrika had discussed the current political situation in the country with the thera. The two had exchanged views which were not opened to the media. The concept of the ‘executive Presidency’ has to be abolished and all need to live in
