PM to be Resigned : Son Anuradha to become the CP Chief Minister

The political information says that Anuradha Jayaratne the son of the Prime-minister D M Jayaratne who has got the highest preferential votes will be elected as the Chief Minister.

It is reported that the Prime-minister is going to resign from his post enabling the ex Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake to come to the parliament.

It is said that with the resignation of the Prime-Minister, the government has paid the attention to give a Cabinet post to
Sarath Ekanayake.

Anuradha Jayaratne made a statement that he is willing to take up the duties and to be sworn in as the Chief Minister no sooner the President returns.
