Pregnant Mother Killed by Beating with a Pole

It is learnt from the Bulathsinhala Police that a pregnant mother having a child had been killed. It is learnt that she is a resident of Kalawana and she had gone to live with an illegal husband at a house in Pahala Kurunda and had lived together for about six months the Police had disclosed.
With regard to killing her beating her with a pole the suspected illegal husband a 22 year old youngster has been taken into custody.
The lady killed is Selvarani Subramaniam. Where the body was found her little child also had been lying. It had been
found that the child too had sustained injuries. To treat her injuries she had been admitted to the Bulathsinhala hospital has been reported by the Police.
