The person to be sworn in as the Chief Minister in the North C.V.Wigneswaran had quipped that is awfully scared of the Minister Wimal Weerawansa.This he had added to an interview he had given to a week end ‘Virakesari’ newspaper.
“We have been invited to join with the south and to work together as a cohesive unit. But people in the likes of Wimal Weerawansa tell us different stories. It has been confirmed and seen that the HE President also listens to what he tells. We are scared that the promises given would be changed. I have a great confidence that HE President would act to according to what is told by Wimal
Weerawansa.Minister Basil Rajapaksa has invited us to work together.Yet we are scared of the talks made by Wimal Weerawansa. His suggestions are accepted by the HE President.Because of the stories of the people about Tamil community, the administrators change the decisions they had already taken. As for examples ‘Bandaranaike/Chelvanayagam pact’, ‘Dudley /Chelvanayagam’ pact could be quoted”
