Ministry of Finance & Planning says that the government has allocated Rs. 300 million for the SLTB to cover their gaps.
While working based on the commercial purposes, the SLTB is adhere to a timetable avoiding rush hours.
“Sisusariya” (for school children), “Gamisariya” (for rural areas) and “Nisisariya” (for night time) are developed in 2011 for the welfare of passengers. The Ministry reveals that this facility of Rs. 300 million is provided to facilitate to transport
passengers even at loss.
